My passion has always been in the healthcare field. After working as a pharmacist for 18 years I recently left my staff pharmacist position to pursue holistic healing modalities and to obtain my naturopathic doctor degree. I specialize in utilizing the innate healing art of Jin Shin Jyutsu and Mother Earth’s pharmacy to harmonize mind, body and spirit.

Jin Shin Jyutsu came into my life I believe as an answer to a prayer said in the pharmacy one day, “These people are not getting well. This isn’t working. I need something and I need something good.” Shortly after that a Jin Shin Jyutsu self-help class showed up in Lansing. I knew half way through the first day that my prayer had been answered. I was amazed that something so simple could be so powerful and that we could help both ourselves and others.

Besides BE-ing truth,  Jin Shin Jyutsu® (Art of the Creator through man of knowing and compassion) is the best way to study the self. I have recently come to learn that the only person we can truly change is ourselves but in doing this we have a huge impact on those who come in contact with us. By studying the attitudes and the effects each attitude can have in the body we begin to truly know ourselves which is another name for Jin Shin Jyutsu, “now Know myself.” Once we identify our attitudes we can begin to work with the body using our hands as jumper cables to “unlock” the blocks in our body. When we do this and change our attitude to gratitude healing follows. I enjoy utilizing this light touch healing modality and teaching others how they can help themselves.

Flower essence remedies are my second favorite gift we have been bestowed with here on this beautiful planet.

Flower essences are herbal infusions made from the flowering part of the plant.  They address emotional and mental aspects of dis-ease that if left untreated can manifest into physical symptoms. The first 38 flower remedies were formulated by a British physician and mystic, Dr. Edward Bach, in the 1930's. Today we have hundreds of remedies available to us from any flowering species. I enjoy making my own remedies from the flowers I find in nature and I use those and Dr. Bach’s formulations to make personalized remedies for all who ask.

Working with herbs is another passion. Herbs are super foods capable of nourishing maintaining and restoring health. I live the words of the Father of Medicine, Hippocrates, who once said, “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”  I have come to realize the importance of everything that we feed our bodies not only physically but in every sense of “the Word.” Because of my love of truth,  I incorporate the teachings of Jesus Christ otherwise known as “The Truth” in all that I do.  Although not perfectly I follow His command to love, as love, in its many forms, is truly all we need.

I see every flower and plant as a gift from God and a form of Love that can be utilized to heal.” God heals, Love heals anything that is not of love cannot and will not ever heal anything.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. “As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” Jesus Christ

My passion is teaching others how to achieve and maintain health in mind body and mostly that which is immortal the spirit.
